We are an evidence based practice that has spent over 6 years studying and interviewing veterans to determine their primary needs. Studies show 18.5% of all returning service members meet criteria for either PTSD or depression and also have higher rates of unhealthy behavior such as smoking, overeating, anger management, unemployment and homelessness. In addition, the Bureau of Labor Statistics cites that overall veteran unemployment is below the national average , primarily due to a lack of veteran employee retention.
